Senior Prom!

Senior prom was yesterday, and now it's starting to hit me how little time I have left. Like, less than 30 days of school left... I'm going to miss these people I've been with for the last 6 years so much. But I also had an amazing time being with the people I love the most at this prom and I'm so glad I was able to make more memories (and take these amazing pictures) with them. 

As of now, I'm currently not on any socials, so I don't have anywhere to post these pictures (other than this site of course), but I'm kind of glad. It takes the pressure off - the pressure to perform and be as pretty as everyone expects me to be - and I can just live in the moment. But lots of moments I felt last night (prom night) were moments that others were trying to capture to show to the world on their socials, and then there was me, one of the only people at my school who doesn't have social media. I had a great time just living, and while none of my friends would admit it, I think they all wish they could live more in the moment than they do. But still yet, I'm glad I get to. I'm different, and while I do have very bad FOMO, its been good for me to find my worth in who God says I am rather than who others say I am. 

Nevertheless, this blog site has been my way of getting my thoughts out for myself, and I want to post pictures here as a way for me to remember them with my words and thoughts as they are fresh when I look back. And that's what I'm doing, just writing about how I feel and what I'm thinking about at the moment. This is for me, and if anyone else is here reading this - hello, and thank you by the way - I hope you can feel my honesty and sincerity in every post. But anyways, back to the pictures: 

I did have a date this year - shout-out to Jaden! Thanks for being such an awesome friend, I loved getting to spend the night with you and take goofy pictures with you for fun.... To all my girl friends, you all are the most beautiful girls in the whole world, and I would know because I've been all of yall's photographers; don't ever settle for less than you deserve, and always know your so precious in the eyes of God. And all my guy friends, yall are precious too... thanks for bringing the laughs, joy, and fun to the party: my life would be so boring without yall. Thank you God for all these amazing people in my life.
